Behavioral Health Collaboration of Alameda County

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on mental and behavioral health continues to evolve. In Alameda County, a group of 30 Community-Based Organizations asked us to help them develop, launch and manage a public awareness campaign to draw attention to the increasing demand for mental health — even as funding continued to be inadequate to meet the demand. The result was a web-based program that generated more than 6,000 letters to local officials demanding that they “Take Action” and release funds that were available to mental health CBOs. The county did just that, raising the annual county contribution to over $50 million designated for mental and behavioral health assistance to members of the community.

Fred Finch Youth & Family Services

From image and branding campaigns to creating a whole new website for a venerable century-old social services agency, JSA has been a partner with FFY&FS for nearly 10 years. We’ve developed public relations programs that promote the work they do in the communities they serve and produced a unique podcast that goes inside FFY&FS to highlight the clients and the staff that make their agency amazing. It’s all part of a job well done.
